An Admission RN at San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine, Ann holds Bachelors degrees in anthropology and nursing, and advanced degrees in public health.

She worked for 16 years in Asia and Africa before moving to the San Diego area. She became a Buddhist in 1972, while living in Nepal and India. Ann now resides in Rancho Bernardo, California.
